CAMI Labex

CAMI LABEX brings together the 6 French research teams (TIMC at Grenoble, LATIM at Brest, LTSI at Rennes, ISIR at Paris, ICube at Strasbourg and LIRMM at Montpellier) that have been able to invent new concepts in this domain, to prove their feasibility, and to turn them into clinically used prototypes translated into widely disseminated industrial products. CAMI LABEX proposes :

• to offer the operator the possibility to see beyond the immediately visible by innovative fusion of multimodal data obtained by novel or classical sensors.
• to offer assistance to real-time decision-making through high-level planning and monitoring of the intervention.
• to offer the operator a new dimension in intervention performance with miniaturized robots and solutions for augmented dexterity.
• to reduce the learning curve by offering User-centered learning strategies exploiting the educational potentialities of CAMI technologies
• to develop and validate an adapted methodology for the demonstration of the Medical Benefit of CAMI techniques.

CAMI Days

CAMI Days are organized every year since the start of the program in 2012. This year, CAMI Days are organized in Strasbourg on January 11-12, 2024. PhD students funded by the program will present their work, as well as three invited speakers from industry, academia and the clinic. More details will be posted on the program page closer to the event. A social event will be organized in the city center on January 11 evening. Registration is mandatory before the event.
