Dr. Alessandro MoiraghiDr Moiraghi is a Neurosurgeon at GHU Paris (Saint Anne Hospital). He received the prize of surgical and interventional innovation from the National Academy of Surgery in 2022. He will present his work on the development of a probabilistic atlas to predict surgical outcomes in eloquent diffuse gliomas. This tool, developed at Sainte-Anne Hospital under the direction of Pr. Johann Pallud, enables the anticipation of cases for whichthe full removal of the tumor is not doable due to high risks for the patient. It aids the surgeon and the patient in a particularly challenging and difficult decisional process. |
