Programme > Social eventSocial EventThe social event will be organized on January 11, from 18h to 20h, at the Historic Wine Cellar of Strasbourg Hospices. The cellar is a historic staple of Strasbourg dating back from 1395, with strong links with the history of the city and the hospital. A guided tour of approximately 1h will take place, followed by a wine tasting accompanied by small traditional Alsacian appetizers. Access to the cellar from the College Doctoral Europeen is either 20 minutes by foot through the university campus and the Krutenau neighbourhood, or 20 minutes by bus using either the 10 or C1 line. From the "Porte de l'Hopital" tram station, take the "rue des bouchers" and enter the hospital campus through the "Porte de l'Hopital". The entrance of the Cellar will be immediately on the left through a semilunar wooden door, see map and pictures in the attached document : Access to the Historic Cellar DinnerThe dinner will be organized on January 11 from 20h15 to 22h, in the Maison Kammmerzell restaurant in Strasbourg's City Center, a few steps away from the Strasbourg Cathedral. Access from the Wine Cellar is 10 minutes by foot. We will take the rue des bouchers, cross the river at the "Pont du Corbeau" and then make a right in "Rue Mercière" towards the cathedral. Maison Kammerzell is the historic building on the left corner (16 Pl. de la Cathédrale, 67000 Strasbourg).
